Nominated In New York, it sounds like the start of a Meg Ryan RomCom, but luckily for us, it isn’t. Instead, it’s the start of our foray into the US Search Awards, where we’ve been shortlisted for a whopping 18 awards.

Who We Are

If you don’t know us by now, we’re your team of multi-tasking, AI-loving, target-smashing, data-driven digital gurus, specialising in Account-Based marketing, Paid Media, CRO and SEO, spearheaded by our Marketing Director, Alan the Pug.

It’s because we’re so passionate about what we do, and the impressive results we achieve for our clients, that we thought we’d expand our horizons from our home ground of the UK, and EU regions and take a bold new step to the land of the brave.

What we’ve done

That’s why we submitted some of the most innovative work we’ve undertaken in the last year into the US Search Awards. Some of our entries this year included:

Working for Job Page Ranking: A new player in the jobs listing space, our client had to compete with established brands like Indeed. They asked us to come onboard and develop a strategy that would help them begin to climb search engine pages and dominate the space. With some smart AI, we were able to quickly get this client the results they needed and the attention they deserved.

Moving from Micro to Macro Conversions: Data enables us to make informed decisions for our clients. In this instance, a seller of micro-CPAP machines sought to increase conversions on their website leveraging paid media. Through a careful ten-step process which entailed A/B testing formats amongst other things, we were able to drive a 300% increase within the first 6-months.

Taking the Fight to The Competition: A long-standing SEO client needed to claim back SERP real estate from their number one competitor. The typical low-hanging fruit of any ordinary SEO campaign wasn’t an option for us, so we had to be strategic in how we could leverage both their existing domain authority, and AI tools to outrank the competition. This resulted in the business reclaiming share of voice and surpassing their competitor’s visibility on SERPs, despite the strength of the opposition.

 Why We Enter These Awards

There’s a first time for everything, as they say, and who doesn’t like a shiny trophy (we know we sure do). Those are two good reasons to enter these awards, but there are more. For one, it’s a pat on the back for our team who works so hard all-year round, and this is especially important for a fully remote company like ours.

It’s also really key for our growing client base to know that their businesses are in the hands of experts who’ve been externally validated by a team of judges who know their sht.

Here’s what some of our team members think of entering (and winning) these Search Awards:

“Usually, shortlisters are announced on a Friday, and where I live, it was a bank holiday when the US Search Award nominees were announced. I had to keep checking my phone, and I literally did a happy dance in public when I heard the news that we’d been submitted for a whopping 18 entries.” – Aimee Bishop, Copywriter

“I never understood why the awards were such a big deal, until I got the privilege to attend the EU Search Awards ceremony held in Prague this year. Rubbing shoulders with some of the best in the industry was profound and inspired me to craft the best entry that I could when it came time to submit for the US Search Awards.”  – Elma Cronje, Account Manager.

“This is the third round of awards I’ve worked on, and it’s a very contemplative experience, both in terms of considering how to structure the entry, and when reflecting on what we’ve achieved for our clients to date.” – Lore Defruyt, Senior SEO Specialist

“I’m always incredibly proud of what our team pulls off.” – Alan The Pug.

Concrete Jungle Where Dreams Are Made Of

And so we’ll be landing at JFK in October to celebrate alongside the other shortlisters (we like to think of them as A-listers) of the digital marketing world, and we can’t wait to see you, New York New York!
